An agreement was signed between France and Lithuania on the supply of 18 "Caesar" self-propelled howitzers.

According to APA, the Minister of Armed Forces of France, Sebastien Lecornu, informed about this on his Twitter page after the meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart, Arvidas Anusauskas.

"Within the visit of Minister Anusauskas, an agreement was signed between Lithuania and France's "Nexter" company for the supply of 18 "Caesar" self-propelled howitzers," Lecornu wrote.

He also noted that the visit made it possible to further strengthen the French-Lithuanian relations in the field of defense.
