Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev visited Israel.

APA informs that the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel is at the center of the visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Fariz Rzayev told the Israeli press that the decision to open an official embassy in Israel is an indication of the highest level of relations between the two countries and peoples.

According to him, the establishment of the embassy will create conditions for the deepening of the political discourse and will open new channels for cooperation in economy, tourism, culture, science and other fields.

Rzayev said that this is a rare and historic step and he is happy to be in a place where such a decision was made and to participate in the process of opening the embassy.

"The alliance between the two countries is a miracle, because it is based not only on common interests, but on the common history of two peoples who have lived together for more than a thousand years."

In addition to visiting the possible facilities for the establishment of the embassy, ​​the deputy minister is also scheduled to meet with the former head of the Mossad, Tamir Pardo.

Fariz Rzayev will also meet with Einat Shalain, head of the Israel International Aid Agency (IAA) and Alon Oshfiz, director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the talks, he will discuss issues related to the establishment of an embassy in Israel, as well as other political and strategic aspects.
