Today's operation to search for a missing tourist in the Pirin Mountains was also unsuccessful, reports BTA.
The man went to Mount Vihren on December 26 and has been missing since then.
Mountain rescuers from the detachment in Bansko and from Blagoevgrad participated in the action today, and a drone was also used in it.
Today, the mountain rescuers walked routes and inspected the chutes under Vihren peak.
Today's action lasted eight hours, and mountain rescuer Georgi Botev described it as "exhausting".
He told reporters that the weather had been more favorable, allowing rescuers to climb higher on the mountain and survey a wider perimeter.
Visibility was better, we managed to launch a drone and we already have marked places, Georgi Botev also said.
The mountain rescuer noted that they still do not have specific information about the location of the missing tourist in the mountain.
Plans are already being made for action tomorrow, Botev added.
The search for the lost tourist in Pirin continues
Yesterday, the action of the rescuers lasted shorter, because of the fog that fell on the mountain.
In the afternoon hours of today, visibility was also limited due to fog, Georgi Botev said.
"It almost got us shut down, but we had already looked, we were able to get ahead of things a little bit and we had already looked with the drone," he added.
The terrain covered by the rescuers is difficult and requires time and more rounds to look at more places.
The action continues tomorrow under suitable weather conditions.
