Kyiv

, citizens are already being moved into a renovated house after a rocket hit in March.

Due to the blast wave and the fire, only the frame remained here.

How the state plans to compensate victims for losses from damaged property, according to the story of TSN on December 29.

74-year-old Kyivan Anna Petrivna invites you to her old-new apartment.

She lived here for 47 years.

After a rocket hit this house, the woman wandered around different cities and apartments.

Finally, she moved her belongings here: there were very few things.

"They gave me dishes in Vinnytsia, volunteers gave me curtains, and they sent me this sweater all the way from Canada," says Hanna Petrivna, whose property was completely burned down.

The 16th-floor building on Chornobylska Street, 9A in Kyiv was one of the first to be affected.

A Russian missile hit here in mid-March.

Two people died here that day.

And the house became completely unsuitable for living.

"The rocket fell right near the entrance group, and the entire entrance group flew to the first floor. The premises were generally black, there was soot," says Oleksandr Nikitchenko, head of the construction site.

First, several stages of examination were conducted - whether it is possible to restore the high-rise building and whether it will be safe to live in it.

Then they started repairs.

It lasted about half a year.

"The building was completely burned down. First, some structures had to be cleared, dismantled, and tested, and after that only one frame remained. Due to the fact that the walls were blown down by the blast wave inside, it was necessary to restore the structural elements, completely replace all the networks... Such that not completely there were only a small number of victims, four apartments. Only local repairs were carried out there. And when the fire was extinguished, many were flooded. It was terrifying," says Nikitchenko.

Today, you can still hear the work of builders - they are completing repairs here.

In particular, gas stoves and sanitary ware are being installed in apartments that burned out completely.

"It was financed from the reserve fund of the city of Kyiv. This building was supposed to cost 110 million hryvnias, now we are executing the deeds, it will be a little less," says Oleksandr Akimov, the director of the communal enterprise for the construction of residential buildings.

In the capital, there are 16 buildings with destroyed structural elements. In general, there are much more destructions.

Oleksandr Akimov noted that 300 buildings in Kyiv were damaged by the blast wave.

Windows and doors were banging.

They will be repaired at the expense of the state reserve fund.

So what awaits people whose homes are destroyed?

The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine says that Ukraine cannot provide housing for people on its own.

Therefore, they will attract donors.

"Currently, restoration in the format of current repairs is planned to be carried out at the expense of the state, local budgets and donor funds. Buildings in the format of major repairs are, most likely, donor funds," noted Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Nataliya Kozlovska.

Also, the draft law on compensation should be adopted soon.

"We are expecting the adoption of draft law No. 7198, which provides for compensation for destroyed property. People will be able to buy a home for the amount of damage that will be calculated, anywhere. On the territory of Ukraine," says Kozlovska.

Meanwhile, 11 more buildings are promised to be restored in the capital by the end of the year.

And five - in the next one.

We will remind you that the mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced that it is in the sky above the capital

managed to shoot down 16 enemy missiles.
