According to the Transportation Bureau, the Sha Tin car park is a three-dimensional car park with 1 floor underground and 7 floors above ground, providing parking spaces for 186 cars and 92 motorcycles.

After its completion and opening to February 28 next year is the trial operation period. In addition to providing free parking for the public, the Transportation Bureau will continue to conduct "system testing" and "refinement of the facility interface".

Relevant citizens reported the status of the parking stalls, which have been removed and improved.

Ye Zhaofu, director of the Transportation Bureau, said that the number of parking spaces for women and children is not strictly limited by laws and regulations. Considering that parking spaces for women and children are special parking spaces, the more spaces are marked, the more inconvenient the general public will be. Currently, there are only 4 spaces, plus parking spaces for women, children and the disabled. The surrounding area needs a lot of space, so the choice of location is more restricted. In response to public complaints that the parking spaces for women and children are too far away from the elevators, etc., we will review to see if adjustments can be made.

The Transportation Bureau was notified and immediately dispatched personnel to remove the bumpers on the women's and children's parking spaces for improvement.
