The Russian occupiers are trying to carry out counterattacks against the Armed Forces in three directions in Donbas, and are accumulating manpower and equipment there.

Military expert Dmytro Snegiryov

told about this

in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

"At the moment of the advance from the Svatovo region, we actually reach the level of Starobilsk, which are conditional borders before the beginning of the Russian large-scale invasion. The offensive from the Kreminnaya side is the actual encirclement of the Russian group in the agglomeration of these industrial cities.

It is worth talking about a certain strategic initiative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on two very important areas

," he noted.

Using the opportunity, the expert refuted the information of the British tabloids and the Institute for the Study of War, which report on the so-called operational pause at the front.

"There is no operational pause. The Russians are accumulating personnel and equipment in the Kreminsk and Svatov directions. Moreover, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the

Russians are currently trying to counterattack in three directions. These are, respectively, the Lyman direction and the Kreminna and Svatov directions

," Snegiriov emphasized.

He also reported that the redeployment of certain units of the 76th division of the Russian Armed Forces, the city of permanent deployment of Pskov, was recorded in the occupied territories of the Luhansk region.

"This is an airborne division. In fact, the most combat-capable units. In addition, the redeployment of the latest developments of the Russian military-industrial complex has been recorded. This is a tank support combat vehicle, better known as the Terminator. Redeployment of heavy flame-throwing systems TOS 1A Solntsepek. What an operational pause are they talking?"

- said the military expert.

Snegiryov added that the Russians perfectly understand the possible scenarios from the side of the Armed Forces:

"This is an offensive in the Swativ direction, Nizhny Duvanka district, and accordingly Kreminna. All the more so as the fighting continues at a distance of 2-5 km from this settlement."

We will remind, Dmytro Snegiryov also said that the simultaneous advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kreminnaya and Svatovo regions actually creates conditions for the operational encirclement of the Russian group, which is concentrated in a conglomerate of large cities: Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne and Popasna.

According to various estimates, 15-30 thousand Russians may be surrounded there.

To date, 13 settlements have been deoccupied in the Luhansk region.

The head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhii Gaidai, hopes that the Armed Forces will be able to liberate the entire Luhansk region in 2023.

According to Gaidai, the Ukrainian military has a few kilometers left to Kreminnaya, but the advance is slow due to the dense minefields of the territory.
