The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has approved an updated list on the basis of which

payments

will be made to internally displaced persons .

This was reported by the press service of the department.

Thus, in December of this year, the government adopted Resolution No. 1364, which defines the mechanism for forming a single list of territories on which hostilities are (were) taking place or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.

The territories indicated in the list are divided into territories occupied by the Russian Federation and territories where hostilities are (were) taking place.

In turn, the territories on which hostilities are (were) conducted are divided into territories of possible hostilities and territories of active hostilities.

The list also retrospectively includes the territories on which hostilities were conducted and which were temporarily occupied from February 24, 2022, and on which hostilities or temporary occupation ended.

Thus,

the new list includes the territories of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.

It is also reported that persons who have left the settlements included in the list as territories have the right to payments:

  • possible hostilities;

  • active hostilities;

  • occupied by Russia, on which the date of the end of hostilities (the date of termination of the possibility of hostilities) or temporary occupation has not been determined and are considered to be hostilities or temporarily occupied.

It will be recalled that the Ministry of Reintegration said that

displaced persons who are conscripted for military service must register

for military service at their new place of residence.

This must be done within 7 days.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, announced that

from January 1, 2023, the automatic accrual

of housing assistance to internally displaced persons will be extended.
