Activists began to hold performances with the demand to dismantle it.

An announcement was placed near the memorial that the monument to the Russian empress was being prepared for dismantling.
A vote was held in Odesa - the majority of citizens
supported the dismantling of the monument to the
"Founders of Odesa".
On Wednesday, November 30, the
city council of Odesa voted to dismantle and move the monument to the
"Founders of Odesa" - Empress Catherine II and General Oleksandr Suvorov.
The statue of the empress will be transferred to the Odessa Art Museum, other monuments will be transferred to the municipal museum of personal collections named after
Bleschunova.
