sentenced citizen journalist and nurse Iryna Danylovych to seven years in prison.

She was also fined 50,000 rubles.

This is reported by the human rights project "Crimean Process".

Danylovych was found guilty of committing a crime under the article "illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of explosive substances or explosive devices."

"The guilt has been objectively proven by the testimony of the witnesses and the evidence in the case," the judge emphasized.

The journalist was charged with possession of an improvised explosive device.

When asked whether the defendant understood the essence of the sentence, the journalist answered in the negative. 

By the way, Danylovych disappeared on April 29, when she was returning home from work.

Security forces searched her house in the village of Vladyslavivka near Feodosiya, seized her phone and equipment. 

Until May 7, she was kept in the basement of the FSB.

Then explosives were found in the bag that was taken from her.

The occupation court of the Kyiv district court of Simferopol chose her as a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months.

Then the deadline was extended. 

It will be recalled that the Moscow court

sentenced Oleksii Pasichnyk, a citizen of Ukraine, to three years in a strict

-regime prison for purchasing a GPS tracker for use in a personal car for security purposes.
