France's aid to Ukraine will continue.

The Minister of the Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu, confirmed that France will supply Ukraine with complexes to protect the land and sky from strikes by the Russian Federation.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov.

"I was glad to receive my French colleague and great friend Sebastian Lecorne in Kyiv. This visit is not only an act of bravery, but also a demonstration of strong support. The supply of weapons and ammunition to the Armed Forces will continue, including the excellent French systems to protect our land and skies." , - wrote Reznikov on Twitter.

Zelensky, in turn, also informed about the meeting with the Minister of the Armed Forces of France, Sébastien Lecorne.

"He talked about the security situation at the front and the defense needs of Ukraine. We discussed further steps to strengthen the defense capability of our country with the support of France," the president wrote.



"I thank France for the already provided military assistance aimed at protecting Ukrainian skies and strengthening the capabilities of the defense forces," Zelenskyy added.

We will remind that French Minister of Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu arrived in Kyiv on December 28.

Earlier, France handed over Crotale air defense systems to Ukraine.

Also, in the future, the country will hand over new Caesar self-propelled guns.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he considers it unlikely that Ukraine will join NATO.
