The Armed Forces commented on the article of the American edition of the New York Times, which reported on the imminent release of Kreminnaya in the Luhansk region.

Serhii Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces, said that as soon as this is achieved, Ukrainian society will find out.

A representative of the Eastern Group of Forces announced this on the air of a joint telethon on Wednesday, December 28.

"In this direction, the powerful work of our units, including the airborne assault units, has been going on for some time. When a significant result is achieved there, we will definitely inform the public about it," Cherevaty said.

He also confirmed the information that the command of the Russian army moved from Kreminnaya to Rubizhny.

"After the series of defeats they suffered in Ukraine, they are moving their command posts just in case," Cherevaty added.
