Roman Horbach, head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told about the reason for handing out summonses on the street.

Since men, as a rule, almost never inform the territorial recruitment centers about the changes that occur in their lives, what kind of education they received, where they moved, when they got married, divorced or had children, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine independently collects and updates data on military service. connected

For this, summonses are distributed on the streets and in public places.

Delivering summonses to home addresses is ineffective, Roman Horbach notes, because people do not open their doors.

"That is why the heads of territorial centers choose places where there are many people."

It is easy to do this in the case when public order is violated, for example, a curfew, which does not mean that the men who will be served with summonses will necessarily be drafted into the Armed Forces.

In 95% of cases, this is done in order to clarify a person's military registration data.

Then he returns home, the soldier emphasized.
