Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev presented their political project "We continue the change".

We call on the prosecutor's office to finish its work on the significant corruption scandals in Bulgaria, only a part of which are the cases of Captain Andreevo, the Hemus highway, etc., brought up by the PP in the last year.

Bulgaria won its right to be a full member of the EU and NATO.

It is unacceptable for the Bulgarian prosecutor's office to threaten the position of our country in the international democratic community and prevent Bulgarians from living as full-fledged and respected citizens of Europe, the PP points out.

That is why it is necessary for the parliament to urgently adopt the changes in the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Law on the Judiciary, related to the mechanism of investigation of the Prosecutor General and improvement of pre-trial proceedings.

We also insist on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria to abolish the unlimited power of the Prosecutor General (repeal of Article 126, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code) and other necessary changes.
