Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the United States is threatening to physically remove Russian President

He said this in an interview with the TASS propaganda agency.

He emphasized that the statements of "unnamed officials" from the Pentagon about the task of a "decapitation strike" on the Kremlin are a threat to the removal of the Russian president.

"Some "unnamed officials" from the Pentagon actually threatened to deliver a "beheading blow" to the Kremlin. In fact, it is about the threat of physical removal of the head of the Russian state," he said.

Lavrov noted that such an attack on the Kremlin would have "consequences".

"If such ideas are actually hatched by someone, this someone should think very carefully about the possible consequences of such plans," said the Russian diplomat.
