Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, warned Ukrainians about the threat of a large-scale missile attack on the eve of the New Year and was amused by the forecast that there are not many missiles left in the Russian Federation for new attacks.

He said this on December 27 on the telethon.

Danilov emphasized that Russia is a crazy neighbor, from which we can expect various, even missile attacks on the eve of the New Year.

"We know for sure that there are not so many missiles left in Russia and enough for massive attacks for two or three or at most four times. He is also aware of this, so we will think that he will save them for the following things, so that in the end we spent the New Year's holidays in peace. The energy system is ready for this. But, unfortunately, not everything depends on us," the secretary of the NSDC stressed.

Danilov called on Ukrainians to obey air warning signals and respond to danger.

Missile strikes on energy infrastructure

Since October 10, Russian terrorists have launched massive missile attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

In total, there have already been 9 such attacks.

The occupiers want to leave Ukrainians without light and heat during the winter.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, warned that the Russian Federation could launch a massive missile attack on the eve of the New Year or Christmas.

Military expert Roman Svitan believes that Russia can attack Ukraine with missiles until the end of 2022.

A particularly dangerous period is until December 30.
