In Podolsk, a city in the Moscow Region of Russia, a retired couple tried to set fire to the Military Commissariat.

The Russian Telegram channel "Pidyom" and the publication "Meduza" write about it.

"A 70-year-old man soaked a rag in a canister of gasoline, set it on fire and put it on the window of the Military Commissariat. At that time, his 76-year-old wife was making a video," sources say.

The couple was detained by police officers who were passing by.

The fire was promptly extinguished.

There are no casualties.

The details of the incident and the subsequent actions of the police in relation to the pensioners are not reported.

The day before, eight mobilized Russians who escaped with weapons from the Luhansk region were detained in the suburbs of Moscow.
