AMADA (Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency) held a press conference on the results of 2022.
According to Apasport.az, AMADA director Shafaq Huseynli said that in 2022, a total of 1456 tests were taken from athletes.
770 of them took place during the competition, 686 during the non-competition period.
This year, there were 7 Anti-Doping Rule Violations, 2 in boxing and weightlifting, 1 in wrestling, karate and kickboxing.
2 sports have been added to the national test program this year.
These are kickboxing and futsal.
AMADA's Investigation Department has investigated 382 cases this year.
