The United States has developed a special plan for the accelerated deployment of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex, the transfer of which was announced by President Joe Biden.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said this in an interview with the Associated Press.

Commenting on the fact that Washington handed over these systems, Minister Kuleba said that this step "opens the door for other countries to do the same."

According to him, the Patriot will be ready for operation in Ukraine in less than six months, while training usually lasts up to a year.

Kuleba did not name specific terms.

He noted that the Ukrainian military will learn to use this complex outside the borders of our country.

The Foreign Minister also added that he was "absolutely satisfied" with the results of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's visit to the United States last week.
