, in connection with precipitation, preventive treatment of streets with anti-icing agents has been started.

Utility workers plan to use 276 units of special equipment for this night's work.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on the Telegram channel.

"It is snowing in the capital and the road workers are starting preventive treatment of the streets with anti-icing agents. At night, when the roads will be free, the municipal workers plan to attract 276 units of special equipment to work in the city," the mayor said.

Klitschko noted that, depending on the intensity of precipitation, the amount of snow removal equipment will be adjusted.

It will be recalled that forecasters previously told what the 

 of 2022 will be like and what kind of weather awaits Ukrainians on New Year's Eve.

On New Year, according to forecasts, there will also be no snow cover. 

According to national forecaster Stanislav Shchedrin, the weather in Ukraine will be abnormally warm until the end of 2022 and in the first half of January-2023.
