"We no longer have the right to trust the collective West, history and our people will not forgive us for this."

APA reports that this was said by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

He said that multipolarity has disappeared in the world.

"The United States and some countries that agree with it are also aware of the danger of this political course. Those forces must understand that there is no alternative to the policy of maintaining friendly neighborly relations and living side by side on this small planet of ours," Lavrov said.

He reminded that the United States attacks countries located thousands of kilometers away.

"The USA suddenly thought that Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya are a source of danger.

Currently, the fate of the countries I mentioned is in sight, and we are seeing the tragic result of the military operations carried out by the United States.

Therefore, we should not trust the collective West, we cannot.

First of all, we should develop the politically important fields and technologies, we should do so that we do not depend on anyone in this regard," added the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Lavrov pointed out that the sanctions applied against the background of military operations in Ukraine show Russia's shortcomings in some areas.
