Gajendra Daral, who won the independent election from Mundka, joined the BJP on Monday.

new Delhi:

Before the election for the post of mayor in MCD, the BJP has increased its clan and got independent councilor Gajendra Daral from Mundka included in the party.

Gajendra Daral joined the party at the BJP headquarters.

Significantly, he had been in BJP earlier also and in 2022, he left the party after getting angry over not getting the ticket.

Let us tell that the Aam Aadmi Party had won the MCD elections, but the election of the Mayor has not been completed yet.

Aam Aadmi Party got 134 out of 250 seats and BJP got 104 seats in Delhi Municipal Corporation elections.

In this way Aam Aadmi Party has majority.

The first meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is to be held on 6 January 2023.

In this the decision will be taken on the mayor and deputy mayor.

Doubts are being raised about the post of mayor and deputy mayor because the party law does not apply to councilors in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

Also, after a long time, there is very little difference between the ruling party and the opposition.

That's why it was expected that the BJP could reverse the post of mayor and deputy mayor.
