The Azerbaijan championship in taekwondo among adults and among parataekwondo players was held.

According to Apasport.az website, 127 athletes tested their strength in 14 weight classes in the competition among taekwondo players at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

After intense battles, women in 6th and men in 8th weight class determined the strongest of the country.

The Sports and Health Center of the State Customs Committee was the first in the team score.

Agjabedi team took the second place, while "Khazar" Taekwondo Club closed the first "three".

According to the results of the competition, Eltaj Gafarov, winner of the European Championship, was awarded the title of the most determined athlete among men.

Minaya Akbarova, another gold medalist of the Azerbaijan championship, won this title in the competition of female taekwondo players.

Aygül Abdullayeva and Ramal Jamalov won the title of the best referee among international judges.

Dilara Hasanova and Elmir Mahmudov, representatives of national level justice, distinguished themselves from their colleagues.

Gunay Zeynalova won the best name in the female coach nomination, and Zohrab Ismayilov won the best name in the male coach nomination.

In the competition among parataekwondo players, men in 5 weight classes and women in 1 weight class tested their strength and determined the winners.

Thus, the 5-day Azerbaijan championships and championships have ended.

In the final competitions of the year, 127 athletes tried their strength among adults, 420 among juniors, and 340 among youth taekwondo athletes.

Distinguished taekwondo players will be included in the national team and will represent our country in international competitions.
