This was stated by the head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhiy Gaidai.

"As for Bakhmut, it is no longer even in a strategic military plan, although there is such a thing, but more symbolism, which the Kremlin regime loves very much. Plus, the Kadyrovites and the Wagnerites want to prove and show the bunker grandfather that they are up to something capable. But while they are losing thousands of their soldiers there," Gaidai said.

The head of the Luhansk region emphasized that Moscow does not give up its intentions - completely for Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
