The President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister visited 'Sadaiv Atal' and paid tribute to Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.

President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at "Sadaiv Atail" on Sunday.

Apart from these, several Union Ministers and dignitaries including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former President Ram Nath Kovind, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also did. Paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Vajpayee.

A prayer meeting was also organized on this occasion, in which bhajan singer Anoop Jalota sang bhajans.

After this, he again became the Prime Minister in 1998 and held this post for 13 months.

In the year 1999, he became the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.

He was the first non-Congress leader to complete his term as Prime Minister.

Vajpayee's birth anniversary is celebrated as Good Governance Day.
