Holiday boxes with books are placed up to 25 statues in Sofia on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, reports BTA.

Each of them contains two titles, reports Kolibri publishing house, which is among the organizers of the project "Christmas gifts for the statues of Sofia".

Each box contains two books.

One is "Christmas Miracle", which includes stories by Bulgarian authors Vladislav Todorov, Ivan Vladimirov - Nav, Zhechka Georgieva, Ivan Dimitrov, Blagoi D. Ivanov, Rene Karabash, Maria Kasimova - Moase, Petar Krumov, Velina Minkova, Vladimir Poleganov , Sonia Todorova, Andrey Velkov and Kremena Dimitrova.

The second edition in the box is part of the 'Europa' series.

In addition to books, the "gifts" also include Christmas stockings and a textile bag.

"Actually - they are for the people of Sofia, for anyone who discovers them," commented the publishing house.

The initiative is the idea of ​​Ivan Shishiev and Ekaterina Kalugina.

Among the locations where the holiday boxes can be found are the monument to Jan Bibiyan and the little devil Fut in the garden behind Banya Madara, the monument to Aleko Konstantinov (Vitosha Blvd. 69), the sculpture "For the Letters" in front of the National Palace of Culture ( NDK), the monument of Patriarch Yevtimij Turnovski (54 "Graf Ignatiev" Str.), the monument of Yordan Radichkov in the garden in front of the Palace of the National Art Gallery, etc.
