Among the county councilors who attended the oath today, there were 26 members from the KMT, 16 from the DPP, 8 from the Non-Party Party, and 2 from the People’s Party. Since the People’s Party and the Non-Party Party did not recommend candidates, only the KMT and the DPP proposed candidates. , the People's Party has already stated that it will support Xie Dianlin based on parliamentary harmony.

As a result of today's ballot count for the chair and deputy speakers, Xie Dianlin and Xu Yuanlong each won 36 votes, while Lai Qingmei and Li Junyu each got 16 votes from the Democratic Progressive Party Caucus.
