On the night of December 23, a fire broke out in the building of the Military Commissariat

in the Russian village of Ivantiivka, Saratov Region

It was committed by Danylo Akimov, a former deputy from Putin's United Russia.

This was reported by Baza Telegram channel.

It is noted that he lit a fire, and then threw a plastic bottle with gasoline and oil into the duty officer's office.

The very next morning, the police managed to detain a 41-year-old suspect of arson.

Akimov did not deny his involvement in the arson.

According to him, he started the fire for fun.

Baza writes that in 2011, Danylo Akimov was a member of the Znamyan municipal education council from United Russia.

In 2022, he was convicted under the article on the production and sale of goods without marking.
