President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Olesya Ilashchuk, who is an expert in sexology and precious jewelry and has never worked in diplomacy or in public positions, as the ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria.

This was reported by the publication "European Truth" with reference to several sources in the diplomatic corps.

President Zelenskyi signed the decree appointing Ilashchuk on December 23.

So she has already taken part in the general meeting of ambassadors of Ukraine on December 22-25 in Kyiv and Mykolaiv.

According to the sources, Olesya Ilashchuk previously had no work experience as an international specialist.

Her biography has not yet been made public, but the new ambassador herself disclosed certain details in her Facebook profiles, which do not have an official verification mark, but on which personal photos and other information are posted.

"One of them has not been updated for a long time, and it positions Ilaschuk as a gemstone specialist. The profile claims that she is a graduate of the Antwerp High Council for Diamonds, a reputable organization that is not a university or an educational center, but still provides certain educational services," the mass media note.

In another profile, which was actively updated until recently, Ilashchuk is already listed as a "clinical psychologist, systemic family therapist, Gestalt therapist, sexologist-consultant."

"Based on the public activity of the future representative of Ukraine in the EU and NATO member states, until recently she was preoccupied with the issues of gestalt therapy and sexology," the source notes.

We would like to add that this profile was blocked on the evening of December 25.

The day before, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr
