Russian President Vladimir

Putin called the war in Ukraine a "war" for the first time

and blamed Ukraine for it.

He stated this during a meeting of the Russian Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights.

In turn, the US State Department commented on the words of the Russian president and once again called on him to end the war against Ukraine.

AFP writes about it.

"Since February 24, the United States and the rest of the world have known that Putin's 'special military operation' was an unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine. Finally, after 300 days, Putin has called the war what it is. As the next step in acknowledging reality - we urge to end this war by withdrawing troops from Ukraine," said the representative of the State Department.
