On Christmas Eve, I am talking to the great patriot Iliya Lukov, whose professional and creative biography is dedicated to and closely related to Bulgarian history.

- Mr. Lukov, you are starting your new show on Eurocom, what provoked you to do it and what will it be?

- Yes, I have been thinking about this project for a long time.

I am glad to find like-minded people and the performance of the program "Let's meet with a song" started.

Our goal is to promote and present Bulgarian folk songs from the various folklore regions of Bulgaria.

Wealth is our folk song, which gathered wisdom, history, life and real experiences of our ancestors.

This wealth is priceless and teaches us Bulgarian values, teaches us patriotism, connects us to our roots, gives us strength that we may not be fully aware of, but we feel with our hearts... The song gathers, the song cheers up, the song provokes emotions, plays, creates a mood..., that's why we called our project "Let's meet with a song" and tell different stories from every corner of our homeland with a song.

- Your music is proven to have unifying ability, but how and what outside of it can unite our so strongly divided society?

- Music in any style is unifying, it is the international language that is perceived with the senses, felt with the heart and experienced, according to individual values.

Outside of it, it is difficult for me to point out what unites us, but in my opinion, we should be united by our responsibility to our children, to future generations.

Let's think about what we are doing today and what we are bequeathing to the young, what example we are setting with our behavior.

To cultivate love for the family, for the Bulgarian and not to deny our roots.

- On top of Christmas Eve and the Nativity of Christ, in your opinion, do we Bulgarians think about good often enough and allow it into our hearts, minds, souls and homes?

- The Bulgarian has a good heart, he is compassionate, he empathizes, he is ready to come to the rescue and take his bite out to help others.

We have many examples of this nowadays, e.g.

how many people came to help with work, with money, with donations of household goods after the floods in Karlovsko, or we witness different campaigns to raise funds for sick people or victims...

The Bulgarian has always responded, the good is at stake for us, everyone carries it and responds to other people's pain, according to their capabilities.

Let each one sow good, according to how much he carries in his heart!
