On Saturday, December 24, a fatal accident occurred in

near the village of Pidberiztsi.

Two foreign cars collided on the Ternopil-Lviv highway.

This was reported in the press service of the Police of the Lviv region.

It is noted that as a result of the accident, the 57-year-old passenger of the Seat Ibiza received non-life-threatening injuries.

She died at the scene.

The drivers of vehicles - a 58-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman - were injured.

They were hospitalized in a medical institution.

Currently, the police are establishing the circumstances of the accident.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under the article "violation of traffic safety rules.
