Large-scale riots may break out in Russia when the Russian elite begins to annoy society.

This opinion was expressed by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak, FREEDOM informs.

In his opinion, the huge number of dead, wounded, and missing Russians at the front will not affect the mood in the Russian Federation.

"And this is not even a matter of propaganda, it is a matter of the expectations of society itself. It is not ready to be critical of what is being done inside the country. And even more so what its government is doing. It is intimidated, it is poorly educated, it is aggressive, it, you know, this is a category of a completely different state of civilization than the one in which you and I live or Europe lives, etc. This is very important to understand," said Podolyak.

The adviser to the head of the OP believes that riots in Russia can arise in another case: when ordinary Russians stop fearing the political elite because of its powerlessness.

"The Russian Federation should drown in riots. ... Riots will start when this elite annoys society with its cowardice or panicky moods," he believes.

According to Podoliak, further defeats of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine may lead to riots in the Russian Federation.

"And then society will feel this loss. Because Russian society is built on the principle of subordination and fear. And it will feel the loss, subordination and loss of fear, and after that it will begin to realize its lowest qualities, but not on the territory of Ukraine, but on the territory of its own country . Looting, looting, smashing ATMs. You will see the fall, the final fall of the Russian neo-empire and, accordingly, you and I can expect the emergence of a different type of state in this place. It will not be democratic, but at least for a while it will be less aggressive." - concluded the adviser to the head of the President's Office.

Earlier, Mykhailo Podolyak called for Iran, North Korea and Belarus, which are helping the Russian Federation, to be prosecuted
