The world famous YouTuber, Jimmy 'Mr Beast' Donaldson has asked if he could become the CEO of Twitter.

The YouTuber's statement comes days after Twitter CEO

ran a poll asking users whether he 

should continue at the helm of the micro-blogging platform.

In results posted on Monday, 57 percent of voters, or 10 million votes, supported Musk stepping down.

Sharing the results of the poll, Musk had said that he would step down as CEO of Twitter once a suitable replacement is found.

The world's second-richest person wrote on Twitter, "As soon as I see a fool who can take the job, I will resign as CEO! After that, I will just run the software and server teams."

And today Donaldson asked in a tweet if he could run a social media company.

"Can I be the new Twitter CEO?"

He tweeted.

Responding to the 24-year-old YouTuber's tweet, Elon Musk said, "It is not out of the question."
