The Gaogong Bureau recommends that people who want to use the third day to the fifth day to return to the north should use public transportation. If you need to drive a long distance to the north, please use Taiwan 61 instead of the road. For departure, passers-by in the central area should start before 12 o'clock, or it may be delayed from the seventh day to the eighth day of the lunar new year to avoid long-term congestion of national highways caused by excessive traffic flow.

The Highway Bureau appeals to passers-by to use the expressway 1968 App to check the real-time road conditions of the national highway and related relief measures before going out, and to flexibly adjust the driving time and diversion routes to avoid peak congestion periods and road sections of the national highway.

The Highway Bureau uses big data to analyze sections of national highways that are prone to congestion, and plans to plan traffic relief measures as follows, and will review relevant relief measures on a rolling basis depending on the development of the domestic epidemic situation:

2. High load control:

From 13:00 to 18:00 on January 25 next year (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year), the entry ramps of the interchanges will be on the northbound Yingying system of State 1 to Toufen, and the northbound Guantian system of State 3 to Zhunan.

From January 24th (third day) to January 29th (eighth day) next year, from 15:00 to 20:00 every day, the entrance ramps of State 5 northbound to Suao, Luodong, Yilan and Toucheng interchanges.

3. Charging measures:

Suspension of fees: From January 20 to January 29, 2012, fees will be suspended from 0 to 5 o'clock every day.

4. Open shoulders:

In addition to the existing measures to open the shoulders as usual, during the holidays, the sections and time slots of the open shoulders will be increased every day for small cars to drive.

5. Ramp instrument control:

During the holidays, the on-ramp instrument control will be implemented and adjusted dynamically depending on the traffic conditions of each interchange.

6. Alternative roads:

(1) If you go to Pinglin area from the head city of Guo 5, it is recommended to go to Taiwan 9 instead.

(2) For those traveling to and from Hsinchu in China 1 and 3, it is recommended to use Taiwan 61 instead.

(3) It is recommended to go to Taiwan 63 to travel between Taichung and Nantou area of ​​China 6.

(4) For country 3 Wufeng to and from country 1 Taichung system and country 3 China-Hong Kong system, it is recommended to use Taiwan 74 to connect to country 4.

7. Suspension of construction:

From 12:00 on January 19 next year to 24:00 on January 29 next year, construction and routine maintenance operations will be suspended on the entire road section (except emergency repairs and projects that do not affect the main line traffic).
