The world should continue to support

Ukraine

in its fight against Russian aggression.

Putin's army must be defeated or the world will become vulnerable to authoritarian regimes.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in a Financial Times column.

According to him, it is necessary to support Ukraine so that it can hold its own as a sovereign, independent European state.

"If Putin wins in Ukraine, it will signal to Russia and other authoritarian regimes that they can get what they want by force. It will be a disaster for Ukraine. It will also make the whole world more dangerous and all of us more vulnerable. It is in our own security interests to keep support for Ukraine this winter, and as much as will be needed," Stoltenberg noted.

He emphasized that most wars sooner or later end at the negotiating table.

However, it is "inextricably linked to what happens on the battlefield."
