Peng Wen is suing Tsai Ing-wen's appointed lawyer Zhang Jing for calling the judge a "bastard" and now he will be prosecuted

[Reporter Su Yongyao/Taipei Report] The Taipei District Court announced today that it rejected Peng Wenzheng's civil lawsuit of "confirming the non-existence of his doctoral dissertation".

Presidential Office Spokesperson Zhang Dunhan responded that the Presidential Office respects judicial decisions and hopes that all sectors of society will base their facts on the school's correct information, and that false discussions that waste social resources should be stopped in moderation.

Peng Wenzheng questioned President Tsai's academic qualifications and filed a "complaint for confirming the non-existence of a doctoral dissertation" to the Taipei District Court. The North Court of the first instance found that Peng Wenzheng only requested confirmation of the fact that President Tsai obtained a doctorate, not the legal relationship. If it does not meet the requirements of the Civil Procedure Law, it shall be rejected.

Peng Wenzheng refused to accept it and filed an appeal.

The second-instance Taiwan High Court held that the original trial "did not fulfill the obligation of clarification, and dismissed it with a judgment without oral argument." There were major flaws in the proceedings of the original trial.

The North Court reclassified the case in the first instance, and the judge of the first instance, Zhang Yonghui, was still the appointed judge.

During the trial of the first instance, Peng Wenzheng questioned the judge's unfair trial. He filed an administrative lawsuit and petitioned the judge to recuse himself, but all of them were rejected.

Peng Wenzheng questioned that the judgment was subject to political interference, which infringed on his litigation rights and reputation rights, and demanded NT$2 million from Zhang Yonghui, but the judgment was also rejected.
