In

Kyiv

, as of the evening of December 23, there are emergency power outages, water and heat supply are operating as usual.

Problems with heating only where the operation of boiler rooms depends on electricity.

This was announced by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

"The situation with electricity in the country and in Kyiv, in particular, remains difficult. There are emergency power outage schedules. First of all, critical infrastructure facilities, medical facilities, maternity homes, and military hospitals are provided with electricity," Klitschko explained.

According to him, specialists managed to stabilize the heat supply.

Except for cases where the operation of boiler rooms depends on the supply of light.

But they are currently working on attracting generators to power the maximum number of boiler houses.

"Utility workers today are real heroes. They work in an intensified mode to adjust the operation of the equipment after the restoration of the electricity supply in order to stabilize the situation in the power system," the mayor added.

We will remind, the head of the KMVA, Serhii Popko, explained that the main problem with the restoration of light is not generation, but the

delivery of power to consumers.

It is precisely because of the destroyed networks and nodes that the majority of Kyiv residents cannot get light to their homes.

Meanwhile,

the number of heating points has been increased in Kyiv.

52 new points are equipped with generators and other necessary equipment.

According to KMVA data, as of December 23, in Bila Tserkva, Vasylkiv, and Fastov, power companies

managed to reach the 4/4 shutdown schedule.

The schedule is similar in the Vyshgorod district.

The most difficult situation is in the Buchansk, Brovarsk, and partially Boryspil districts.

As reported, on December 22, Kyiv received

 9 powerful generators

from Denmark .

One of them will be installed in a geriatric boarding house, the others - in the boiler rooms of the Kyivteploenergo utility company.
