The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has a chance to end the war according to a "soft scenario", blaming the defeat on his generals and thereby saving his own life.

But he chose another, bloodier path that will lead him to an inevitable disaster.

Mykhailo Prytula, a military expert, a reserve colonel of the SBU, an expert in military counterintelligence, expressed this opinion on ApostrofTV.

According to him, the master of the Kremlin receives signals from Washington and from President Zelensky about readiness for the first scenario, which will allow Putin to prepare for negotiations, capitulation and a soft exit from the crisis into which he drove his country.

"However, Putin is "bullying" and does not want this," the expert claims.

In order for the first scenario to work, the Kremlin must "turn on propaganda in reverse and start explaining that it is not Putin's fault, but his generals."

"The king is good, but the boyars are bad.

This propaganda should go on for several months, after which a change in conventional public opinion should begin.

And then the withdrawal of troops.

This is a life-saving program for Putin and his team.

Then, in principle, it is possible to negotiate reparations, to end the war and end everything in peace.

Perhaps, under this option, Russia will lose money, perhaps territories, but this is a logical way to save lives and positions", - believes Mykhailo Prytula.

Another path that the master of the Kremlin is now taking is the further escalation of hostilities.

"The mobilization of 500,000 or even a million "mobs", throwing them into the furnace of war, attacking Ukraine from the north and a large number of those mobilized in the east", is how the expert describes the second option of Putin's war, which, according to him, will lead to a guaranteed defeats, loss of power.

"There will be trials in the legal sphere, because whether Putin is alive or not, there will be a trial... What can we do?

Only watch and beat the enemy where he is," Mykhailo Prytula summed up.

We will remind you that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to cheer up his citizens with his statements about a protracted war against Ukraine, but the aggressor country will not be able to conduct hostilities for a long time.
