This is reported by the Associated Press.

Most of the graves are located

in the cemetery in the village of Stary Krym

, Mariupol district, satellite images show.

According to the agency's calculations, the area occupied by new graves reaches more than 51,500 square meters.

m. According to the analysis of video materials, the occupiers use heavy equipment to dig long trenches, and then fill them with earth again.

Burials have the appearance of earthen mounds.

Sometimes wooden crosses with names and dates are installed on them, but mostly on graves there are handwritten numbers on small tablets.

Some burials were marked with more than one number, which

may indicate more than one person buried.

The newspaper notes that three forensic archaeologists with experience in investigating war crimes believe the analysis is justified, given the limited amount of data and lack of access to the graves.

One of the specialists emphasized that the

number of burials does not necessarily

correspond to the number of killed Ukrainians

.

The agency also recalled that mass grave sites exhumed by international forensic experts in other parts of Ukraine often contained more than one set of human remains in a single grave.

Many of them had obvious signs of violent death, such as blast injuries, bullet wounds and hands tied with rope.

We will remind you that photos from Mariupol appeared on the Internet, in which it was recorded that the occupiers "hid" the ruins of the drama theater they destroyed, surrounding the building with banners with portraits of Russian writers.

In mid-December, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko, informed about the brewing of a social riot in the city due to the accumulation of problems.

So, in the homes of local residents, it was raining just from the ceiling, and there is also no heat supply.
