The Health Bureau sampled fresh fruits and vegetables that did not comply with the regulations, including 2 pieces of passion fruit and 2 pieces of white radish, and detected 1 to 2 pesticide residues respectively; kale, loofah, mainland girl, Chrysanthemum chrysanthemum, radish lettuce, coriander, and Qingjiang cabbage 1 and 1 piece of mung bean, respectively, 1 or 2 items of pesticide residues were detected that did not comply with the "Pesticide Residue Allowance Standard". The Health Bureau stated that if the residual pesticide content does not meet the "Pesticide Residue Allowable Standard", it violates the "Food Safety and Sanitation Management Law", Article 15, Item 1, Subparagraph 5 "The residual pesticide or animal drug content exceeds the safe allowable amount". The law can impose a fine of 60,000 to 200 million yuan on the responsible industry.

If the source cannot be accounted for, the seller may be fined not less than 30,000 yuan but not more than 3 million yuan in accordance with Article 47 of the same law.

For products that do not meet the regulations, the Health Bureau stated that it has ordered the spot for random inspection to be removed from the shelves and not be sold. After tracing the source of the product from other counties and cities, it will be transferred to the health bureau under its jurisdiction. It also notified Taipei Agricultural Products Transportation and Marketing Co., Ltd. to stop supplying the product name and code for 10 days to violating farmers according to the key points of inspection and treatment of pesticide residues and additives in fruits and vegetables entering the market.
