new Delhi:

The central government has swung into action amidst increasing cases of corona in other countries including China.

The Ministry of Health has issued guidelines for international travelers coming to India.

It is necessary for all the international travelers coming to India to be fully vaccinated.

During the journey, it is mandatory to apply mask during the flight or at the entry and exit point at the airport and follow social distancing.

Instructions were given to follow the Kovid protocol and do random sampling of 2% passengers of international flights.

This will be applicable from 24 December.

The Health Ministry said that if symptoms of corona are found in any passenger during the journey, it will be isolated under the standard protocol.

Such a passenger will have to undergo treatment at the Isolation Facility Center.

According to the government, passengers will be randomly selected in each flight for Covid testing by the respective airlines.

It is being told that 2% of the total passengers in a flight will ensure to undergo Covid testing at the airport upon arrival.

Such passengers will be identified by the airline.

After giving the sample, the passengers will be allowed to leave the airport.

Samples with positive reports will be sent for genome sequencing.

At the same time, the Union Health Ministry is now preparing to make mandatory again the air facility form related to filling the information of RT-PCR test done 72 hours before air travel.

These rules will apply to passengers coming from China and other countries (where cases of Coron are increasing).

Along with the corona test report, information about the full vaccination certificate will also have to be filled in the form.

In view of the sudden increase in the cases of corona virus infection in China and some other countries, a meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to review the situation of Kovid in the country.

After this, sources had told that due to the recent increase in cases in some parts of the world, random screening of passengers will be done at airports for passengers coming from China and other countries.
