The advisor of the Office of the President, Oleksiy Arestovych, explained why the Russian dictator Putin stubbornly does not go to the front line, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does.

He said this in a comment to Russian journalist Yulia Latynina.

Arestovych noted that many Western leaders refused to provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons until they visited the settlements liberated from the occupiers.

"Germany refused military aid to Ukraine for a long time, but after Olaf Scholz's visit to Irpen, his position changed. EU officials, who had an emotional experience, drastically changed their attitude towards Putin and what the people of Ukraine are actually going through," Arestovych explained.

An adviser to the President's Office noted that Putin is afraid of such an emotional experience, as it may change his attitude to the senseless deaths of the Russian occupiers.

"Putin himself stays away from the battlefield of his army, fearing this emotional experience. With which he will send Russian soldiers to a painful and senseless death in a completely different way. The Zhukov system needs dissociation from the realities of war. Only in this way can Putin throw his last troops to the slaughter ", - said Arestovych.

President Zelensky's visit to Bakhmut

On the eve of his trip to the USA, Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, where the fiercest battles are currently taking place.

The President presented awards to defenders of Ukraine and received a flag from them, which he later handed over to the US Congress.

"I was in Bakhmut yesterday, our heroes gave me a flag, a battle flag of those who defend Ukraine, Europe, the world at the cost of their lives. They asked to transfer this flag to you, the American Congress, members of the House of Representatives, senators, whose decisions can save millions of people ", Zelensky said in the USA.
