[Reporter Yan Hongjun/Changhua Report] In the nine-in-one general election, the Changhua District Prosecutor’s Office will sue 4 county councilors and 2 township chiefs for invalid election. Township head Lin Baoling and Ershui township head Su Jieqin.

Elects who are raptured and invalidated will not affect their eligibility to take the oath of office.

Wu Yuxuan, Chief Prosecutor of Changhua District Prosecutor's Office Xiangyue, said that the lawsuit of invalid election will be filed in two waves. The reason is that the elected person's relatives, friends, or campaign team members' bribery behaviors, such as joint participation, instigation, or consent, do not violate their original intentions. Such situations are all joint election bribery by the elected persons, thus causing the election to be unfair. Based on the concept of respecting the election results and maintaining fair elections, the Department proposed in two waves. The candidates for the township chief surnamed Lin, the county councilor-elect surnamed Xiao and the township chief-elect surnamed Su were listed as the second wave.
