"Don't get too excited, a child has been born to the boy. The dawn is over."

This was said by one of the witnesses in the case of the murder of Iliyan Iliev, which took place on the evening of January 9 in the capital's "Lyulin" district of the accused Denis Mustafa Kamel al Ghazzi, it became clear in the Sofia City Court.

A few moments later, Iliev was stabbed, prosecutor Violeta Zheleva pointed out.

She explained that there were multiple witnesses to the attack.

Neighbors of the murderer in "Lyulin" revealed that the man had attacked children before, pulling out a knife

It happened in the dark part, Iliev and his friends were celebrating the birth of a child of a man from the company.

Al Ghazzi got angry and came down from his block.

Then he was stopped by the witness, who explained to him that everything was over.

Despite this, al Ghazzi stabbed 32-year-old Iliev.

According to al-Ghazzi's lawyer - Miroslav Hristov, most of the witnesses were not direct eyewitnesses, because shortly before the stabbing, they were sprayed with a hot spray.

He asked al-Ghazzi to be released under house arrest and with an electronic bracelet.

"There is no way I will commit a new crime if I am under house arrest," said the detained man himself.

Judge Vera Chochkova, however, pointed out that there is a lot of evidence against al-Ghazzi, including those from cameras.

He said he was on probation for a drug distribution charge when the murder took place.

That's why he left him in custody.

Al Ghazzi can appeal on December 29 before the Sofia Court of Appeal, reports "24 Chasa".
