The Russian occupiers accidentally shot down their own Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported by the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the incident happened at the beginning of December.

The Russian anti-aircraft missile system "Pantsir-S1" detected an object in the night sky and decided to "land" it.

The target was successfully eliminated, but it was later revealed that the helicopter was a Russian Ka-52 Alligator.

The occupiers say the crew supposedly survived.

It will be recalled that the analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) are convinced that the "Wagner" PMC, which is controlled by Russian oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is close to Putin, exaggerates its gains in Donbas in order to strengthen its influence on the Kremlin regime.
