Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders have carried out 71 shellings of the
Kherson
region, attacking residential buildings in Kherson, including hitting the river port.
Yaroslav Yanushevich, the head of Kherson OVA, spoke about the situation in the region.
As a result of the shelling by the Russians, one person was killed, and six more were injured of varying degrees of severity.
"They were fired from artillery, anti-aircraft guns, mortars and tanks. The enemy once again shelled the residential quarters of Kherson. They targeted the port, private and apartment buildings," the report says.
Shelling of Kherson region
The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson on November 11, and since then the Russian invaders have been shelling the city and the region daily.
For example, recently the occupiers
shelled the village of Havrylivka with "Grad" salvo rocket systems.
In the settlement, a school, a college, a village council, a dispensary and a cultural center were damaged.
On Monday, December 19, the occupiers shelled Kherson again and once again
damaged the building of Kherson OVA
.
After the enemy strikes, the light went out in the city.
