Military and political analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko believes that the Iskander and S-400 missile complexes transferred by the Russian Federation to Belarus do not pose a serious threat to Ukraine.

However, he does not rule out that Belarus can use its complexes to carry out strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

Kovalenko expressed this opinion in an interview with TSN.ua.

"The fact that it

(Russia - ed.)

sells or transfers something is not a fact that it is doing it. Belarus may receive Iskanders, but not a fact that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus will receive missiles for the OTRK

(operational-tactical missile systems of the class ground-to-ground - ed.)

. With the S-400, it is a little different. It is actually a deep modernization of the S-300. Therefore, Lukashenka does not need to make pathos out of it. Unfortunately, there are

enough missiles for the S-300.

Inherited from the Soviet Russia received thousands of S-300 units from the Union. I think that Belarus will use its systems to strike the territory of Ukraine. And Russia can use its systems for this: both the S-300 and the Iskanders," he said.

Also, according to him, Russian missiles will never run out, as the Russian Federation is constantly producing them.

He assumes that Russian attacks against Ukrainians will continue.

"Indeed,

they have problems with missiles, but they will never end.

If only because the Russian Federation still has the production of missile weapons. Yes, it is slow, degraded, depends on the smuggling of spare parts, microcircuits and so on. But the production exists. They can renew their ammunition for striking Ukraine. The terms of preparation will increase, but there will still be attacks," said the expert.

It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy left on December 21 for a working trip to the USA.

It should be noted that this is the first trip of the president outside of Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24.

There he will meet with US President Joe Biden and address a joint session of Congress.
