Among the climbers, the snow-capped mountain lost contact for 12 days. Rescuers went down the cliff and entered the bamboo forest to "find a needle in a haystack" to search and rescue.

[Reporter Cai Zhengmin/Miaoli Report] A 43-year-old man surnamed Lin went to Zhongxue Mountain with 15 other people. However, the Miaoli Fire Department received a report on the 10th that Lin Nan was separated from the others due to his fast pace during the climb, and the other climbers went down the mountain. Later, it was found that Lin Nan had not been seen for a long time, so he reported to the firefighters to assist in the rescue.

Previously, rescuers braved the cold to go up the mountain to search and rescue. Because Lin Nan and other climbers were separated for a distance of 2 kilometers, there were many bamboo forests and cliffs on the way. The Miaoli County Fire Department asked the Taichung City Fire Department to cooperate, including the Snow Police Team and the Central District Search and Rescue Team. Volunteers and others are all involved, but Lin Nan has not yet been found.

The search and rescue personnel began to expand their search from the snow mountain trail to the point where Lin Nan's team finally met Lin Nan. It was also concluded that Lin Nan may have fallen to the 23.5-kilometer water source due to taking pictures, but the search was still fruitless. Rescuers continued to camp on the mountain to search.

The Fire Department of Miaoli County Government stated that although the search and rescue mission is like "finding a needle in a haystack", it will not give up easily. Although the weather is cloudy and rainy, there are dense arrow bamboo forests near the place where Lin Nan may have disappeared, and there are cliffs, but they will still try their best to find people. .
