We expect the price of gas for January to be below BGN 200, which is below a 35% jump.

"The latest calculations from yesterday show that if we had to submit a price today, it would be BGN 199. In contrast to previous months, in January the share of gas we get from Chiren is significant," she added.

Zlateva explained that in the period from May to October, "Bulgargaz" is obliged to inject natural gas into the gas storage, which we start extracting mainly from January, and stated that this year this gas is at a very high price.
