American President Joe Biden compared the war in Ukraine, which was unleashed by the Russian president-dictator Vladimir Putin, with the Second World War.

Biden said this during a joint press conference following the negotiations with the Ukrainian president at the White House.

"We have never seen a major invasion of a European country since World War II. We don't see Putin wanting to change his actions. Putin thought he would weaken the west and NATO, but instead our relationship has only strengthened. Sweden, Finland join NATO "I don't see any weakening of support for Ukraine. We communicate with our allies," Biden is confident.

Biden emphasized that the goal of the United States is a free and prosperous Ukraine.

"Putin thought he would weaken the West and NATO, but instead our relations have only strengthened. We have a common vision - a free, independent, prosperous Ukraine. Ukraine can succeed on the battlefield with our help, with the help of allies," Biden is confident.
